Michael A Mobley
Michael A. Mobley is Founder and Managing Partner of Impetus Solutions, LLC. Michael has extensive experience in strategy, finance, value creation and executive coaching with both large corporations and small businesses. After ending his corporate career in 2001, Michael founded his small business consulting practice based in Maryland, focusing on strategy, planning, coaching and training. His clients included construction firms, IT companies, professional service consultants, retail firms, hospitality companies and not-for-profit organizations. He served as an adjunct professor of entrepreneurship at a Maryland community college and as an adjunct professor of business in the MBA program of a Maryland university. He has also managed firms that provided venture capital and loans to small businesses. After relocating to Arizona in 2013, Michael founded Impetus Solutions.
Michael has won several awards for his professional and community activities. He received the Financial Achievement Award from General Foods Corporation in 1985 for his work on a share repurchase program. In 1993 Michael received the Business Volunteers for the Arts Award for Outstanding Service to the Arts by the Cultural Alliance of Greater Washington, D.C. He is a 1995 graduate of Leadership Cleveland and received several proclamations for his community service in Cleveland. Michael was a recipient of the 2000 Eagle Award for Leadership from the National Eagle Leadership Institute, and the 2009 Small Business Administration Journalist of the Year for the state of Maryland. Michael is a 2007 graduate of Leadership Howard County in Maryland.
Michael received his BA in Economics from Columbia University and his MBA in Finance, also from Columbia University.
